As a small, FOSTER-based rescue in Michigan, we have no physical shelter and are only able to save as many dogs as we have Foster Homes for. Although we are small, we have saved hundreds of dogs over the years!

Matilida - In Foster Care
This poor little lady has a sad story.
She had been seen running stray for months. Live trapping has been unsuccessful, but finally an ACO was able to lasso her bringing her to safety. She was already in fight or flight mode, but being in a noisy, overcrowded shelter made her shut down further. We have been dedicating any available time we had to try and gain her trust. We’ve been sitting by her side offering our magical meal, McDonalds chicken nuggets. We were so grateful when we were able to get her in a carrier to hopefully start her on the first steps to realizing life is not so bad!
Please welcome our little lady to the rescue and say a prayer for her to recover from her trauma. We believe her to be a baby dog, under a year. We’re here for you Matilda!

Once we receive a completed application that is APPROVED, we will do a vet check. If everything goes well, then we will set up meet & greets.
Just because you apply for a foster dog, that doesn’t mean you will be called in regards to your application. We call applicants who we feel can provide the ideal home for our foster dogs. We also only work with one applicant at a time, so the process can take time. Thank you for your patience and understanding!
