We rescued this little baby late in the night after an unexpected fall. She had a humeral condylar fracture, which means broken elbow. It also meant immediate surgical intervention and, of course, $$$$$!

She has completed her surgery & recovered beautifully, now she’s looking for her forever home!

Her ideal home? A family that can keep up with her playful energy and provide the enrichment she craves. After all she is a puppy! Bluebelle would love a doggy friend her size to romp with, but big, rowdy dogs might be a little too much for this petite girl. She’ll thrive with someone who’s home often and ready to share lots of love, patience, and adventures.

We pulled Mr. Muffins mid-September. He was found in pretty dire condition, matted, crawling with fleas, and severe dental disease, but despite all that he has a winning demeanor.

He’s had quite the medical journey with us! After weeks of a severe upper respiratory infection, he had an anal gland mass removed. After his recovery from that, we moved onto his horrific dental disease. It’s probably one of the worst oral cavity’s we have seen! He had 29 teeth removed!

Mr. Muffins is a sweet & goofy boy who never lets anything keep him down for long. We’re so happy to have saved him!

His story is a sad one- though he was once loved, he was dumped at the shelter with no one willing to claim him. He was dejected, sad, and heartbroken. To be blunt, he's got a lot of issues and is a bit of a wreck, but we just knew we had to give him a chance. The second we took him out the door, he was booking it! We've chosen to name him Ferris Bueller after seeing his carefree attitude and charismatic smile

Bueller's got a long road ahead of him... little guy is overweight, has dental disease, issues with his mobility, and has extremely elevated liver enzymes. We have a plan on how to start tackling his problems and get him on the road to recovery, but if we're being honest, it's unsure how long he has and he may be a hospice case at best.

Bueller has a kindness in his heart and a fighting spirit. He deserves a chance. He deserves love. And even if his time with us is short, he will know he was loved before the end.

The Spooky Season has arrived and we happen to have found Count Dracula sitting at the pound! He has the breath of a vampire, but we will get that fixed for him soon!

Little guy is currently resting comfortably in his foster home awaiting his dental surgery. Such a tiny little man with big heart. We have not been able to do a lot of intake recently due to our medical dogs and their journeys to better health. It takes quite a bit of $$$ and dedication to get them them to adoptable. Any donations to the healthcare of our fosters is greatly appreciated!

Dracula has a big surprise in his future! One of our former hospice adopters has already claimed him as her own. As soon as his medical is complete, he will move to his new family.

Poor Franklin was found alone, outside in 0° weather, taking shelter under a trailer to survive. Franklin has been dealt a hard hand- he has an enlarged heart, enlarged liver, and is heartworm positive. The diagnosis from the cardiologist wasn’t great, degenerative mitral and tricuspid valve disease. Also substantial pulmonary hypertension mixed with heartworm disease. The cardiologist did give us the greenlight to try and treat his heartworm disease and has started him on a new heart medication. We need continued prayers for our neglected guy as we are not going to give up on him

On a positive note, Franklin LOVES his food & snacks. He is so grateful to have the basics in life such as treats, regular meals and a warm place to sleep. He’s a very sweet ol guy, quite accepting of everything around him. He makes us laugh, cause all he cares about is the next treat. He’ll stare you down just in case you may be willing to give him one at any minute
